Your club's Sprocket site publishes a live calendar feed for every team — and iPhones subscribe to feeds natively. The friction is purely in the finding: a Copy to Clipboard control that only appears once you're logged in, and an iOS settings path Apple keeps relocating.
Here's the whole route, including the webcal shortcut that skips Settings entirely.
Log in to your club's Sprocket site and copy the calendar link. Sprocket is white-labeled club software — your club's own website (usually yourclub.sprocketsports.com), with Sprocket underneath. Log in with your registration account, open your team's schedule, and look for the calendar/subscribe control offering Copy to Clipboard. That copies the raw feed address — the thing every step below needs. (If the web dashboard hides it, the Sprocket Sports mobile app has the same option on the team schedule.)
Fastest path: open the link as webcal on your iPhone. If the copied link starts with webcal://, paste it into Safari's address bar and go — iOS recognizes webcal and asks if you want to subscribe. If it starts with https:// instead, swap that prefix for webcal:// and open it. Tap Subscribe/Add and the schedule lands in your Calendar app.
Or add it through Settings. Go to Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar, paste the Sprocket link, and tap Next → Save. (On older iOS versions, Calendar appears directly in the main Settings list.)
Check it appears in the Calendar app. Open Calendar, tap Calendars at the bottom, and find the team feed under Subscribed — make sure its checkbox is on, and give it a color that stands out from your personal events.
Optional: add it on your Mac too. In the Mac Calendar app, choose File → New Calendar Subscription, paste the same link, and set Auto-refresh to every hour. Subscriptions added through iCloud sync across your Apple devices automatically.
Paste the link into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook and it works — and for one team it's genuinely fine. The squeeze comes at two kids on three teams: every team is another subscription on every family phone, and none of them warn you when two games land at the same hour.
I've never heard of Sprocket — I just use my club's website
That's the normal experience: Sprocket is white-labeled, so it's your club's site with Sprocket underneath. If the address looks like yourclub.sprocketsports.com, or the footer credits Sprocket Sports, this guide applies.
I can't find the subscribe option on the club site
Make sure you're logged in (the calendar options only appear for signed-in members) and on the team's schedule page, not the club-wide public calendar. Still nothing? Try the Sprocket Sports mobile app — the control lives on both surfaces but isn't always in the same spot.
A game moved but my iPhone still shows the old time
iOS refreshes subscribed calendars on its own schedule, quietly — often only a few times a day. The Sprocket feed itself updates promptly; it's the phone's cached copy that lags. Schedule Caddie checks the same feed hourly and emails you exactly what changed.
The subscription only shows on my phone, not my spouse's
Subscriptions live on the device (or iCloud account) that added them. Either repeat the steps on each phone — or put the link in Schedule Caddie once and share the merged family calendar, which also covers the grandparents without touching their settings.
On iPhone, iOS decides — typically every few hours, silently. On Mac you can set Auto-refresh to hourly. Either way, changes arrive with no notification: the event just moves.
