If your family or work life runs on Outlook, TeamSnap's schedule can live there too — kept current automatically. The only tricky parts: the link exists only on teamsnap.com (not in the phone app), and Outlook wants https:// rather than webcal://.
Get the calendar link from teamsnap.com — in a browser, not the app. The link you need only exists on the website version of TeamSnap. Sign in at teamsnap.com, open the specific team, then the Schedule tab, then the button labeled Settings — that reveals Sync Calendar / Export.
Copy the calendar URL. TeamSnap hands you an iCal/webcal link — it may come from teamsnap.com, go.teamsnap.com, or ical-cdn.teamsnap.com depending on plan; all behave the same. Copy it.
In Outlook: Add calendar → Subscribe from web. On outlook.com (or the new Outlook app for Windows/Mac): open Calendar, choose Add calendar, then Subscribe from web. Paste the URL, name it, pick a color, and Import. If your link starts with webcal://, change that prefix to https:// first — same feed, different label.
Multi-kid family? Merge first and subscribe Outlook once. Paste every team's link — and the school PDF — into Schedule Caddie (free), then subscribe Outlook to the single merged All Events URL from Subscribe & Share. One subscription instead of five, plus an email whenever a coach moves something.
I can't find Subscribe from web in the Outlook phone app
Set the subscription up on outlook.com in a browser — the phone apps don't offer URL subscriptions. Once added to your account, the calendar appears on every device signed into it, phones included.
A game moved but Outlook still shows the old time
Outlook refreshes subscribed internet calendars on its own cycle — commonly several hours, and Microsoft doesn't publish a guaranteed interval, so allow up to a day. The subscription IS working; it's just quiet about changes. If you want to know the day something moves, route the feed through Schedule Caddie first — free change-alert emails name exactly what changed while Outlook catches up.
Outlook rejected the link
Two usual causes: the webcal:// prefix (change it to https://) or a stray space from copying. Paste into the address bar first to confirm it loads/downloads, then into Outlook.
The subscription mirrors whatever TeamSnap publishes for that team. When a season ends, you can remove the subscribed calendar from Outlook in one click — or, if you subscribed via a Schedule Caddie merged feed, just archive the team there and the feed updates itself.
Usually — but some organizations disable internet-calendar subscriptions by policy. If Subscribe from web is missing, that's an admin setting, not a broken link; use a personal outlook.com account instead.
